COFFEE HOUR HOSTING
2011-2012

We are about to begin our 8th year with a rotation of members hosting the Adult’s Coffee Hour.
The Children’s Snack Table is hosted by a rotation of parents of children in Nursery- 8th Grade.
The Coffee Hour rotation is drawn from attending church families down to and including those
whose youngest is in the 9th Grade Confirmation Class.

WEEKLY REMINDER PHONE CALLS will be made by Betsy Howard.
ALL changes must go through her: by Wednesday P.M.

BULLETIN DEADLINE is Thursday AM; listings of volunteers need to be accurate!
1 -because it is a courtesy to those volunteering
2 -because many rely on this for learning and remembering names at church.


HOW IT WORKS:
Senior High Vergers set up Coffee Hour every Saturday.
Jean orders munchkins (Sat) and picks them up (early Sunday).
HOSTS: MANAGE the COFFEE HOUR, SERVE, and CLEAN UP.


 YOUR HOSTING RESPONSIBILITIES:
Bring... half & half or cream for that morning
Fill... urns to make decaf and regular coffee…use the ‘recipe’...
Use... “recipe” & blue measuring cup on ‘coffee cupboard door’ Arrange... munchkins on plastic serving plates and cover them
Plug... in the 2 urns RIGHT BEFORE going up for worship
Leave... the service during the last hymn to “be at your post”

 YOUR CLEAN UP RESPONSIBILITIES:
Drain & wash urns, wash & dry plates, and put them away!
Clear & clean serving tables.
Distribute or take home leftovers.
REMEMBER: There is NO FREEZER at church!
We pay for monthly “pest” control.

Can you be a SUBSTITUTE HOST in addition to your designated Sunday?
 Please tell BETSY - - We NEED a list of willing SUBSTITUTES.


Look for Sundays designated by Committee.
(Deacons, Missions, Religious Education, Trustees, Youth Ministry)
They are also YOUR responsibility!
