CHILDREN’S SNACK TABLE
 2011-2012

The Children’s Snack at Coffee Hour is provided & served by parents of children
Nursery-Grade 8. This has worked well for 22 years. We ask your cooperation
in following this schedule, which begins with “ H’s ” rather than “ A-Z ” again.


Each family brings 3 dozen cookies “Homemade” are preferred.
 Crackers, cheese or fruit are good alternatives to cookies.
 “Storeboughtcookies” often send little hands to the munchkins at the adult’s table.
NOTE: PLEASE AVOID NUTS in your baking or choice of cookies

 Each family brings 2 containers of juice. (Avoid excessive sugar.)


  • BRING your cookies & juice during the week or on Sunday morning.

Church is open T-W-Th-Sat. (You may want to LABEL them.)

  • SET UP Snack Table. Pitchers, can-opener and trays are in the kitchen.

Cups, napkins, name tags and paper towels will be on the Snack Table.
 + Children’s Table should be READY before 10 o’clock Worship.

  • HOST the Children’s Snack Table.

Following worship, 11 o’clock, serve Toddlers.
11:15...Kindergarten–6th dismissed (Expect a “rush”.)
7th & 8th Grades dismiss between 11 & 11:15.

  • CLEAN snack table, 3 low children’s tables, and stack blue chairs.

Wash the pitchers & trays and put them away in the kitchen.
Take Leftovers home or put in a plastic bin. Label it ‘Sunday School & date’.
NOTE: WE HAVE NO FREEZER...

JANET HUEHLS is the current Cookie Lady.

She’ll remind hosts for each Sunday, arranges substitutes, and
monitor the “stockpile” of juice and cookies. Call her with concerns or changes.


When hosting the Children’s Snack Table,
you have a right to insist on good manners
and to control servings.

 We greatly appreciate your responsible intervention.
